Job Description

Role Purpose

Provide a brief overview of the role, including responsibilities such as sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for IT positions, maintaining candidate databases, and coordinating with clients.

Responsibilities:
  1. Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing methods (job boards, social media, networking, referrals, etc.) to attract top IT talent.
  2. Screening and Qualification: Review resumes, conduct phone screenings, and assess candidates' technical skills, experience, and qualifications.
  3. Candidate Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with candidates, providing them with information about job opportunities, company culture, and career development.
  4. Job Posting and Advertising: Write and post job descriptions on job boards and social media platforms, ensuring accurate and compelling content to attract qualified candidates.
  5. Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth interview process.
  6. Offer Negotiation: Assist in negotiating salary, benefits, and other terms of employment with candidates, working closely with hiring managers and HR.
  7. Candidate Pipeline Management: Maintain a database of qualified candidates for current and future job openings, keeping detailed records of interactions and statuses.
  8. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor analysis to provide insights and recommendations for talent acquisition strategies.
  9. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to recruitment and hiring processes, including equal employment opportunity (EEO) regulations.
  10. Reporting: Generate reports and metrics to track recruitment KPIs, such as time-to-fill, candidate conversion rates, and source effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. Proven experience (2-5 years) as a recruiter, preferably in IT or technology recruiting.
  3. Strong understanding of IT roles and technologies, including software development, cybersecurity, data analytics, etc.
  4. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with candidates and hiring managers.
  6. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  7. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  9. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly related to recruitment and hiring practices.
  10. Professional certifications such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or LinkedIn Recruiter Certification are a plus.
